How can I book a class?HiP Studio runs a little differently as classes are really busy! Most members have a class that they attend, once or twice a week and a number of these classes are full. 10 class passes and drop ins are also offered but the number of these are limited so everyone who has one, gets the chance to get themselves into a class. If you are interested in joining then please get in contact to see what spaces are available

What do you offer? We offer reformer classes, a mat class and private sessions. Reformer classes have limited availability depending on the class, please get in touch to see what classes currently have spaces and if they would suit you. The mat class is fully booked. If you are interested in joining a waitlist then please let us know. Private sessions are closed to booking for the foreseeable future.

Where are you?We are based in the village of Shalford, a mile outside Guildford. The studio is based in an old dance hall, slash Social Club. We have all the large equipment for private sessions, 7 top of the range Merrithew reformers and small equipment for mat classes.
-
Where can I park?Parking is free on the road outside, however please be aware that it can get really busy. If Station Road is full, there are 2 hour bays on Kings Road and Chinthurst Lane. There is also parking on Tillingbourne Road which is less than a 5 minute walk from the studio over the rail bridge.

When do your classes run?My classes run from Mon to Fri, my timetable can be found on this website or on my app. My classes run in line with the Surrey schools times, with breaks for the holidays. The exception to this is that I run drop in session over the summer.
-
How do your classes work?I run the same class for a whole week. I want to ensure that all of my clients are exposed to the same repertoire. This is for a few reasons, I thrive on my clients progressing and for certain exercises to be tried, the bases of other exercises needs to be explored. It also means that I can ensure that everyone is getting a good over all body work out. Finally, I like to play and try new things, so I want to make sure everyone is having the same fun!

Do I need a private before my first session? If a private would help you feel more comfortable around the reformer and the studio, please do book yourself in for one. I would also advise one if you are carrying a particular injury or something you may need modifications for. However if you are in good health, you are happy to "learn on the job" and follow those around you. I am more than happy for you to come along and muck in. The choice to private or not to private is completely yours.
